wrapping tonight to some pretty
sweet christmas tunes
an old friend passed away recently,
leaving his sweet wife and children behind
her and their families are in my thoughts tonight
i have come to realization that
life is so precious
each minute counts
no matter how much money you have
or how pretty you are
or what kind of nice things you enjoy
no one is exempt from death
we must always be aware of how blessed we are
and how you'll never know when it will be taken away
but if by the terrible chance it does
live your life that you will know in your heart
that you have done your best to
treat the one's you love
with kindness
and appreciation.
without family and friends
you have nothing
