Editing the last of this family has really made me think of how special my sister is to me.  

She is such a funny, bright, and caring person. 

I really cannot imagine my life without her.

When it comes to being a good friend, there is no else that is more loyal and understanding. 

There have been countless days where I've felt discouraged and down in the dumps. For some reason she has always had unwavering faith in my talents and abilities.  She believes in me no-matter-what. Because of that I love her so much more.  

We are as thick as thieves

She is my partner in crime

Together we can rule the world!!!

In light of a great celebration, I thought I'd leave you with one of my now favorite thoughts:

Can't help but feel grateful on this day.

The thought of people loosing their lives brings tears to my eyes each year.  

I can't put into words my gratitude for soldiers and their families.

Great Day

This day couldn't get any better

I woke up this morning practically jumping out of bed 

kissing my signif other nearly to death

That's how every morning should be

I was thinking that maybe I need another pair or two of some cute flats for work

like here and here

It seemed like everyone in DC wore them

Don't blame em' especially doing so much walking

My new obsession coming back is water with slices of oranges or any fruit for that matter

and english muffins with butter (made from yogurt) spread

I've been looking for some good online storage, any suggestions??

I mainly need it for my pictures. 

I was going to purchase a hard drive but decided against it in case of a fire or damage to it

Spring + Break

Perfect timing

the warm weather has just arrive

and yesterday was my first day of a 2.5 week spring break

Although I try not to sleep in 

nothing's better than not having to wake up

Here's the happenings of my first day

i've already started the most exciting part of my trip

packing!  My boys are now securely tucked in for the big trip

Cut new luggage tags.  Always a plus when your trying to identify your bag from a million others that look exactly the same

  Cute new makeup case.  Only 25 cents at the dollar store.  It's smaller than my everyday bag 

I keep all my jewelry in clear plastic zip lock baggies.  Necklaces on the other hand are a tricky thing.

Needed some sunglasses for the trip.  Got em' all at the dollar store.  Why buy expensive glasses when for some reason you always lose them?

Going to have an honest moment

because quit frankly I'm sure many of you can relate

I was getting a bit burnt out

I'm trying so so hard to follow my dreams 

but yet not seeing the results I'd like that reflect the amount of effort I've been putting in

and like every normal person you begin to travel down the road of doubt

I prefer my roads paved in glitter and gold,

snap, crackle, pop!

 

Had a great talk with my good friend Jamie last night

I love people who are full of good energy and good ideas

she re-lit my fire

I am also incredibly grateful for my sister who always believes in me

no matter what

although I can't figure out if she believes in me because we are related and she has to

or that she actually thinks I have potential 

either way I lub her berry much

A day to be thankful

and jump back into it!

Walk About

 

 

Went on a walk yesterday with my madre on the college campus

 and met up with my pops as he was coming out from class

He's such a good student

It was so nice to just relax and take some well needed photographs

I need to do this more often

 

I've been in a particularly foul mood these last two days

It's unfortunate for Mike,

he's been a real sweetheart

Don't you just hate it when your a crab-apple?

and you just can't shrug it off

sucks

It helped a ton when I 

went to Body Combat class yesterday at Golds Gym

taught by one of my fav teachers, Jen

 who, by the way is amazing

Don't know how she does what she does

but believe me

she does it so well
