Speaking of inspiration, I love this shirt

For the last two weeks my gym attendance has been lacking 

and I am feeling it right about now

So for some motivation I check out this amazing workout blogsite called Tone it Up

Not only are these girls beautiful, but they could totally kick my butt!

I got so excited yesterday after going to the garden store

call me crazy but plants excite me 

This year I really wanna do some gardening and spruce up my back yard space

It's looks atrocious

Hogwarts Express

This morning I put on an Easter brunch
Luckily it turned out beautifully
(which happens only on rare occasions)
I used both recipes mentioned in an earlier post

Yesterday...
My cute cousin Tia 

celebrated her upcoming wedding with a Harry Potter themed bridal shower

It was probably the most amazing decorating I've ever witnessed for a bridal shower
all due to my insanely talented cuzzie, Shantai

I was blown away at how each space was decorated to hilt

 

I hope you all are having a great Easter Sunday so far

But for now I'm going to kick my feet up and relax

Spring Fever

I know it's only April but I have a bad case of spring fever

I'm so ready for it to be here

It seems like spring is teasing us by giving us beautiful summer-like days 

only to be followed with snow!

The other day I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and took Max and I on a stroll through the neighborhood

It thought it was funny when Mike told me he "doesn't do walks" 

and further...

going on walks is something old ladies do

humf!

Great Day

This day couldn't get any better

I woke up this morning practically jumping out of bed 

kissing my signif other nearly to death

That's how every morning should be

I was thinking that maybe I need another pair or two of some cute flats for work

like here and here

It seemed like everyone in DC wore them

Don't blame em' especially doing so much walking

My new obsession coming back is water with slices of oranges or any fruit for that matter

and english muffins with butter (made from yogurt) spread

I've been looking for some good online storage, any suggestions??

I mainly need it for my pictures. 

I was going to purchase a hard drive but decided against it in case of a fire or damage to it

Back from vaca with a new outlook

Back from vaca with a whole new outlook on life

fist,

blessings and happiness are NOT measured by the amount of money we have but by the people

who come into our lives

second,

I'm not a fan of the big city mentality 

where we become self absorbed and unaware of the world around us

The good news is

maybe I really am a better person than I give myself credit for 

I like to smile at people and have them smile back 

I like to wait for old lady's to get through the gates at the airport instead of knocking them down for the sake of making it to the luggage claim 2 minutes earlier than everyone else

I am feeling so incredibly blessed coming home

in fact I did shed a tear or two just pulling into home

Life is definitely what you make of it 

and I firmly believe you don't have to live in a big city to live big or feel glamorous

I must apologize for my last post 

I am embarrassingly aware of how poorly it was written

I blame it completely on "vaca brain"

I was able to capture some lovely pics
