granola.central

my new fabulous, fav granola recipe.  i am naming this recipe because first, it does not have one and second, it should be named after the girl that inspired it.

jo jo's grand ol' granola:

wet ingredients:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp cinnamon (you may use more or less depending on preference)
1 tsp nutmeg (you may use more or less depending on preference)
Other optional ingredients:
1 tsp vanilla
1tsp salt

*add 1 cup of water to mixture as you are mixing the wet into the dry ingrediants
Dry Ingredients:
6 cups of quick oats
1 cup of flour (or you can do 1/2 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of whey)



Other optional ingredients:
chopped walnuts
*chopped almonds
*chopped cashews
any type of nut
coconut
*craisins
raisins
chocolate chips
brown sugar
*flax seed
*what i normally use

Directions:
in a medium pan heat up wet ingredients and stir until ingredients dissolve.  do not boil.  combine dry ingredients in large bowl and slowly add wet mixture.  evenly coat oatmeal and place in two cake pans.  bake at 250 degrees until crispy.  turn granola every 20 min.  i normally bake it for a little over an hour.

good luck!!  this batch usually makes one large pan
